Open International Design Competition to reinvent the La Spezia's military harbour imaging that the city will be under Chinese government. It's a sort of a fifty years forward vision of a city that has a precius developing potential, rare now by now, expecially for a city sorrounded from so beautiful "pearls" as Cinque terre and Porto Venere.

 

La Spezia is a city with a huge perimeter weted by the sea but only 1.2 km is public. The others are ocupied by the military harbour and by the commercial docks.

My project is commect the city to the sea front. The main idea is to use existing dry docks as commercial areas, such as city centers and parkings, in order to preserve urban land for the construction of Parks. La spezia hasn't big parks and this could be the chance to realize them. 

A new university, residential areas, a new sport campus and a pedestrian commercial front is designed to transform a submitted town into the future green city.
